This was one of my favorite Big Sur engagement sessions! Maulin & Hima reached out to me last year about photographing their September wedding in Monterey and with them living in Pittsburg and me living in Monterey, we had to settle for a phone meeting at first. They seemed really sweet and it got me excited to meet them.

When the time came to schedule their engagement session, Maulin & Hima suggested a day right before Christmas so that they could stop in Monterey on their way to see family in Southern California for the holidays. When I met them, I not only recognized the sweetness I had felt from them on the phone, but saw how in love they are with each other, how funny they are together, and just how genuine they are, individually and as a couple. We had a wonderful time photographing around Big Sur in some spectacular weather and it got me even more excited to photograph them again on their wedding day this fall!
