I don’t even really know what to say about Sasha & Chris… other than I only met them two weeks ago but I feel like I’ve known them for years!! I met Sasha through a friend of a friend (thank you Danielle & Miya!) and its really thanks to so many things lining up that I was able to shoot their engagement session while I was in Hawaii. Even now when I’m sitting here writing this post and thinking about all the things that had to happen for me to meet Sasha and have a date where we could all meet up to shoot… its pretty crazy!

I’d been to Kihei on my second day on Maui and absolutely fell in love with it. I suggested to Sasha & Chris that we do their session there at Kamaole Beach… and then “some other awesome place that I drove by that had sweet palm trees.” Ha.

We met up at Kamaole and seriously from the second I met them, I knew I liked them. Not so secretly, I LOVE when that happens with clients. We climbed barefoot over rough rocks, avoiding sea urchins, and I can’t thank these two enough for being willing to do pretty much whatever I asked… so so awesome. When it came time to go to “that other awesome place that I drove by that had sweet palm trees,” the only directions I could give Chris were that it was somewhere along the same road as Kamaole- just like 1 or 2, maybe 3 miles down. I’m actually surprised we found it again but I’m so glad we did because it was stunning!!!

Sasha & Chris- thank you for being amazing! Thank you for a great time, a delicious lunch, and these gorgeous images! I truly can’t wait for your wedding in June- I just know its going to be an incredible day!!!!
