I'm endlessly optimistic, love traveling, and am always on the search for the perfect cocktail. I am very much a dog person, but could easily be talked into thinking penguins are the best ever (although I will cross the street or stop a conversation if I see a particularly cute doggo that needs a head scratch). I believe that guacamole is wonderful and should be it's own food group... but also that cilantro is awful (#teamsoap).
I'm lighthearted and try not to take life too seriously. I strive to live a life where I work to live not live to work. I love what I do... I love the people that have been brought into my life through my camera, the lasting friendships that have formed, the wonderful places they bring me to, and the beautiful love stories I've been witness to.
a little more about me
I've lived near the sea for most of my life and I could spend hours being transfixed by it. Always moving, always changing... it's beautiful. It's a big source of inspiration and calm for me... but due to a fear of deep water, you won't find me swimming in it.
Yes yes...I know these are puffins, you know they are puffins, but let's pretend they're penguins for a second. Penguins or puffins, it doesn't matter to me - I love these little guys so much.
I'm looking forward to the day I get to see penguins in the wild- hopefully on Antarctica!
Pork Chop isn't actually mine, but I sure love him like he is. As my dog nephew, I fall under the fun Aunt category and spoil him with Greenies and overly priced dog toys. He is 17 pounds of adorable, moody, particular, snuggly pupper doggo.
These three humans are my favorites. From traveling to our inside jokes (mostly dad jokes), to just spending time together, it's always fun.
My grandmother instilled in us all a deep love and respect for nature. From the beach to the mountains and everything in between, a good few hours or days surrounded by nature always makes me feel right.
I love living in Monterey, because Big Sur is right down the street. A backyard, if you will. Every time I drive down Highway 1, I'm in awe of how beautiful this part of the world is. It never gets old and I'm continually excited to explore more of this stunning coastline and find the best spots for cliffside picnics and gorgeous sessions.
I'm always up for a good cocktail... especially when paired with good friends and good conversation.
enough said, right?
Having lived on 3 continents by the time I was eight, I got the travel bug early. I've been so fortunate to have had the chance to visit some amazing places so far and I always have a never ending list of locations I want to get to next!
TOP 5? Antarctica, Patagonia, India, Greece, & Nepal... but that'll change by tomorrow.
It might be cliche, but I LOVE flowers. In wedding bouquets, in the garden, or cut in a vase, AH. so gorgeous. In my perfect future house, my garden is filled with peony and camellia shrubs! And my not-so-secret favorite thing is getting one of the leftover centerpieces at weddings at the end of the night!
